The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) offer the following nonimmigrant work visas for different types of foreign workers:

How Can Foreign Workers Find Employment in the US?

You have to identify US employers who have a history of hiring foreign workers as employers who have hired such workers successfully in the past are more familiar with the procedure. Since immigration law is complicated, some employers may even be unaware of the options available to them when hiring foreign workers. Large organizations have entire departments with in-house lawyers to navigate the process of hiring foreign workers. Keep an eye open for employers on the advertising board.

You can also contact people you know in the US to get help in looking for a job opening. Once you have identified US employers who have hired foreign workers previously, don’t hesitate to get in touch with them or send them your resume to consider, just in case. You must also adjust your resume according to US standards. It is your responsibility to demonstrate to the employer that you are qualified for the job opportunity.
